Autumn in Tucson

This is one of my favorite times of year to be living in Tucson.  The mornings are nice and cool, so you can sit on the patio with a hot cup of coffee and start your day by enjoying the lovely dawn hours.  Even mid-day, temperatures are usually only in the mid 80’s.  All of a sudden, you don’t have to fight to get the one parking spot in the shade.  You can finally stow the oven mitts back in the glove compartment because the steering wheel is no longer akin to molten lava.  Even the mosquitos have slowed down, so you can grill your dinner and then eat it outside without being bit.

This is hammock-weather, no doubt.  Just lovely.
