Welcome to 4299 W Jupiter Place in Tucson, Arizona!

This is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with 1851 square feet.  It sits on a roughly .17 acre lot in Northwestern Tucson, near Ina and Oldfather Roads, and was built in 1985.

In the past few years, this home has undergone a huge remodel.  The owners put a lot of time and love into this house, and the fine extra details are proof of that.

Let’s start with the front.  The home was recently stuccoed, and has a 2 car garage.  Not only is there parking in the garage, but there’s plenty of room on the driveway, as well as overflow parking space on either side of the driveway.  You see that roll-open double gate?  The current owners use that to park their RV, but it might also fit a boat or trailer, or could just be extra storage.

The kitchen is definitely one of the highlights of this home.  Extra tall hickory cabinets, modern appliances - which all stay with the home - and a window over the kitchen sink that over looks the back covered patio.  It’s really quite lovely.

Here, you can see how the dining area is right off of the kitchen, almost like an eat-in kitchen.  You also catch a glimpse of some of the fine details: the beams in the ceiling, the upgraded lights and fans, and the detail of the ceramic tile floor. 

You can also see the front door in these pictures, painted white next to the window.  The owners have put their buffet in the area, which makes a nice little entrance area off the front door.

This is the living room.  The detailed ceramic tile floors continue from the kitchen and dining area into this good-sized living area.  You can see the entrance to the Arizona room, just beyond this living room.  The living room has a couple of long walls, so you could configure this space in many ways.

This is the Arizona room, a bonus room at the back of the house.  Those sliding glass doors lead to the pool area, or behind the photographer, there’s an exit to the covered patio.  I like the big windows in this room, which lets the light just flood in.  It’d make a good office or craft room too.

This is the master bedroom, which is just plain huge.  The master bedroom is separated from the rest of the bedrooms, for more privacy as well, and has a nice ceiling fan and light.  When you think about the size of the furniture currently in this room, and how spacious it feels now, you start to realize just how big this room really is.

That arched entrance leads to the master bath.

Here’s the vanity area of the master bath, with two sinks and two medicine cabinets, with a nice modern light fixture and a tile floor.  The shower is off to the left, and a big walk-in closet is off to the right side.

This home has a fabulous pool.  It was built in the last couple years, and is a salt-water pool.  It’s also a Pebbletech pool, which means it has that cool pebble-like inside finish, with a rock waterfall and rock accents around the edge.

You’ll notice the masonry wall goes all the way around the yard, which makes it very private.  I can imagine this area would be pretty fabulous on a summer night, with the sunset reflecting off the walls, sitting in this lagoon-like pool with the sound of the waterfall in the background.

Just beyond the pool is a rod iron fence, behind which sits a shed, a double gate, more yard, and the covered patio.

And here’s the hot tub and the covered patio. 

This area is separately fenced from the pool area.  The hot tub and the awning stay with the property too.

The two pictures above are of the two spare bedrooms.  One is set up as a bedroom - you can see these are good sized rooms from the furniture placement.  Each has a ceiling fan too.

This is the hall bathroom.  Once again, nicely remodeled with thought to the small details.  A lovely vanity, with crisp clean fixtures, with a nice light fixture. I love that the vanity has drawers instead of just a big cabinet. Drawers are so much easier to use for storage of small bathroom items.  The ceramic tile floors extend down the hallway and into this bathroom too.

This is the fourth bedroom, that has an attached bathroom.  It would work well as a private guest suite, since this bedroom is tucked into a corner of the home.

I like the ceiling detail in this room, it’s hard to see in the small picture, but if you click on the picture, you can see the bigger version and the detail is more clear.

This house is in the Marana school district, and is serviced by Thornydale Elementary School, Tortolita Middle School, and Mountain View High School.
