Ah, Can You Do Me a Favor? Vote For Me in the Blog Brawl

March 17, 2008

See, I’m in this little contest sponsored by the Virginia Association of Realtors.  It’s a Blog Brawl, and we’re down to the Sweet 16.

It’s kind of silly.  I don’t believe there are prizes at the end, merely bragging rights.

At this point, I’m two rounds away from winning Zone 2.  If I win Zone 2, then the Phoenix Real Estate Guy goes down in flames to a Tucson blog, which is the goal at this point.  He’s a well-known U of A hater, and for that reason alone, should be voted off the Zone 2 island.  Also, I will teased mercilessly by the Phoenix contingent if he beats me.

If you, dear readers, can get me through this round, I’ll almost certainly face the Phoenix dude next.  Let us stop him in his tracks.

Tucson blog readers, unite!

Head over to the Blog Brawl Round 3 Voting here.  You have to vote all 4 Zones, just be sure to check MyTucsonBlog in the second group of Zone 2.

Also, you can only vote once from each IP address.  You can vote multiple times, as long as you do it from different computers.  So you can vote at work AND at home.

Go Team MyTucsonBlog!

    already did

    Bring it! :)

I’m up against a Virginia blog this time. They have the home court advantage. I may be lucky to get out of this round…

I voted for you BTW. You may be a U of A’er, but I’d like to see AZ blogs rule, despite that.

    Thanks T!

Readers - don’t be fooled by the Phoenix guy! Sure, he seems all nice now…

Jay - kidding, of course. I’m up against a Virginia person this time too, who is seeded higher than me. Housechick needs some votes!

Go Kelly. You got my vote.

I thought you were facing a blog in Foster City, CA? Regardless, would love to face-off with in the Elite Eight! Good luck (and [gasp!] good luck to UA in the NCAA tourney!)

Jay - turns out, you’re right. I didn’t see a state on his main page, just the city name. I think I read a comment somewhere that made me think he was local. Oh well. I want to beat him anyway.

Doug - thanks man! Go Tucson!

  7. Steve Belt on March 18th, 2008 10:24 am

I want to see Tucson vs. Phoenix, so I threw you a bone. Good luck!

  8. Kelley Koehler on March 18th, 2008 10:28 am

Steve - gee, THANKS for your overwhelming support. not that I would DESERVE a vote or anything. :)

It’s very hard for me to compliment a U of A grad…it just never seems natural. But, blog for blog, you’ve got a great blog here. And honestly, if you and Jay win, it’ll be a tough choice, regardless of your alumni status.

  10. Kelley Koehler on March 18th, 2008 7:50 pm

Steve - I’m overwhelmed by your kind words. I know that was rough for you. :)

  11. Jay Thompson on March 19th, 2008 9:06 am

Well, we both got spanked…. EVERY #1 seed went down.

I think it was fixed. ;)

Got something to say?
