oh, Kelly… my heart breaks. I still cry over the loss of my beloved Barney (the pissiest daschund that ever lived). In my life for 17 1/2 years, gone for 8 and I nearly cry daily. I just hope Floyd and Barney take a break from their romps, look down and laugh at us for being sappy. Seriously…. my heart breaks. xoxo

You rescued Floyd from the pound and gave him your love and care and the best life he could have had for 11+ years. If we all cared for each other the way you and Chris cared for Floyd the world would be a much better place. Floyd responded and was obviously a very happy dog with you. I know you will miss him and I’m sorry for your loss. Let me know how I can help?
    I love you,
    Dad

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I’m sure Floyd had a fantasitc life and you must have been both very lucky to have found each other. Give yourself ample time to get over the loss…. I’m sure you’ll always miss him though. And although you can never replace him, hopefully someday soon you can give another pound pup a great home too!!

    My deepest sympathies..
    Paul

Okay, so it isn’t officially spring yet, but it is close!  We’ve had such warm weather recently that the cactus (or maybe they’re succulents?) in my yard are starting to bloom.  Such gorgeous bursts of color sprouting – my photography doesn’t do it justice.
